Host - Regis Philbin
In game show, Millionaire in particular, the host is vital to
the show's success. In my opinion, I believe that Regis has passed this test with
flying colors. He gets the contestants revved up for the attempt at a million
dollars, and then off we go! Generally speaking, All in all, Regis Philbin is an excellent host for the American version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, and I hope to see him as the host for many, many shows to come. That's right, everyone, Regis Philbin of
Live with Regis and Kathie Lee is the host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?.
Regis's place is on the other side of the two computer monitors, across from the "hot
seat".
Regis and
the contestant breeze through the questions up to around $1,000, the first milestone level
(where you're guaranteed to walk away with at least that much). Then of course, as
the questions progress, and the stakes get higher, the pace slows down, of course.
