"Hello. I'm Ben Stein."Win
Ben Stein's

Hello.  I'm Ben Stein.  And today, I'm going to make history.  I'm putting up $5,000 that says I know more than you.   So if you're smart enough... fast enough... and if you've got the guts... YOU can win Ben Stein's Money!

"I'm putting up $5,000..." This fantastic opening comes from Win Ben Stein's Money!  In this show, you can go up with one of television's smartest people (that would be Ben Stein) to attempt to win the $5,000 that Ben puts up at the beginning of each show.  Win Ben Stein's Money airs on Comedy Central at 7:30 PM Eastern/6:30 PM Central, and the same episode airs again at 11:30 PM Eastern/10:30 PM Central, again on Comedy Central.

Win Ben Stein's Money premiered on Comedy Central on July 28, 1997.  The show is produced by Valleycrest Productions, "...and if you've got the guts..."Comedy Central, and Buena Vista Television.  The show is taped in Studio 2 at Hollywood Center Studios.

The pictures that you see on this page are from the opening credits of Win Ben Stein's Money.  The lines at the top of this page are what Ben Stein says during the opening.  There's not enough space to show what goes on during the entire opening, but if you have RealPlayer G2 and Internet Explorer, then you can watch the video.  But, to the tune of classical music, we see "...you can win Ben Stein's Money!"Ben Stein talking to us, as well as seeing Ben's face on various classical masterpieces, such as Michelangelo's David, and Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa.

If you would like to be a contestant on Win Ben Stein's Money, Ben tells you how to do it at the end of every show.  That would be to write, call, or Email to Futility.com, for the chance, albeit a small one, that on some planet, on some distant day, you might WIN BEN STEIN'S MONEY!
